HOW TO Fit a Coyote in your 4x4 Truck

HOW TO Fit a Coyote in your 4x4 Truck

You guys have been asking for this every day for months-- Now we're excited to announce that they're finally here. With the kit, your 1973-1979 Ford F100 and F150 4WD trucks can be upgraded to a modern Ford Coyote motor from a Mustang GT or the F150 truck. This kit is designed to fit the 2011-2019 Coyote and place it in your Ford truck using the factory suspension and power steering box. The kit also includes the transmission cross-member for the 6R80/10R80 automatic transmissions. We have versions for the OEM F150 transfer case, or for your aftermarket Atlas or dana transfer case. Please let us know which one you need when ordering.

This engine swap kit is designed to install the engine to provide space for the power steering box. Due to the design of the power steering box, stock coyote headers don't fit. Fat Fender Garage has solved this as well, and we offer stainless steel headers for your project. The kit comes powder-coated and with all the hardware needed to install the motor and the transmission cross-member. Some drilling may be required to mount the cross members and instructions are included.

NOTE - This kit does not work with the “High Boy” 4x4 models with divorced transfer kit. Check back soon, as we have the High Boy version in the works.
