Ford 80-93 F100, F150 13" FRONT Big Brake Kit (2WD)

Six pistons. Thirteen inches of rotor. One pedal that finally means something. An 80s F150 was engineered to stop an 80s F150. Add a modern engine; modern tires and a bed full of tools and the factory front brakes are the weakest thing on the truck. You feel it once and you never stop thinking about it. This kit puts Wilwood FNSL 6-piston calipers on 13 inch drilled and slotted rotors; carried on aluminum hats and machined 6061 aluminum radial brackets. The brackets are designed and cut in-house at Little Shop; not adapted from something else. Radial mounting is what keeps the caliper square to the rotor under load; and six pistons spread clamping force across a longer pad so heat has somewhere to go on a long grade instead of fading on you. It fits inside most 17 inch wheels. Braided stainless hoses are an option if you are not having your own made; and calipers come in black; red or Wilwood's own black and red finishes.
