VIAIR Dual 485C Air Compressor Kit - Gen 2
Two compressors. One hundred percent duty at 200 psi. A single undersized pump is the reason air systems disappoint. It fills slowly; it heats up; it gets loud right when you want it quiet and it dies in the summer of the second year. The 485C is VIAIR's 200 psi working pressure pump and this kit runs a pair of them. Combined they pull 55 amps and fill a 5 gallon tank from empty to 200 psi in four minutes fifty; a top up from 165 to 200 takes a minute fifteen. The Gen 2 head design raised the duty cycle and dropped the noise. Both pumps come with thermal overload protection; stainless braided leader hoses with inline check valves; remote mount brackets and filter assemblies so the intakes can live somewhere clean and dry. Relays; a fuse holder and a 165 on / 200 off pressure switch are in the box. IP67 rated. Mount them where they will get wet and stop thinking about it.
