Inner Fender to Cowl Bracket - RH - 53-55 F100 F250
Thirteen gauge. One bracket. The gap nobody could explain. If the hood and front fender refuse to line up at the cowl on a 53-55 the inner fender to lower cowl bracket is usually why. It rusts thin; it cracks at the flange; the fender drops a few millimetres and every adjustment afterwards is a fight. This is the passenger side bracket in heavy 13 gauge steel; OE style so it puts the fender back where the factory located it rather than where the shims put it. AMD ships it EDP coated. It is a small part with a big job; the kind of thing you fix once and never think about again. Buy it with the alignment work rather than after it. Chasing hood gaps on a rotten bracket wastes a weekend.
