Rear Cab Mount Base - Upper Bracket - LH - 53-56 F100 F250
Driver side. Thirteen gauge. Welded in for good. Pull the seat out of a 53-56 and the driver side rear cab mount is usually the worse of the two. That corner carries the weight every time somebody steps in and out; rust in the floor seam finishes the job. This is the upper bracket for that corner - the stamping that welds to the floor and takes the rear mount. Heavy 13 gauge steel; flat enough to clamp and solid enough to weld hot. Nuts for the rear seat bracket and the pivot arm nut come in the box. That is the detail you appreciate on install day; not a parts store run halfway through a weld-in. It arrives EDP coated. Clean the flanges; weld it in; seal and paint the seam and the corner is done properly rather than patched.
