Salt; gravel and seventy years of water sitting in the lip do the work. These are AMD reproductions stamped from OE gauge steel - correct size; correct shape; correct curvature and the mounting holes where they belong. That last part is what separates a panel you bolt on from a panel you fight. They arrive EDP coated; a primer dip that holds off rust while the truck sits in your shop waiting on paint. Sold as a left and right pair for a 1953-56 F100 or F250 short bed. One order; both sides; matching stampings. Plan for freight. A running board pair does not go in a box on a brown truck.
