1973-79 Ford Truck and 1978-79 Ford Bronco Complete A/C Kit
Cold air in a dentside. Every bracket made for the cab. A 1973-79 Ford truck is the easiest of these trucks to daily drive and the hardest to keep cool. The cab is big; the glass is big and the factory A/C on a truck that had it is fifty years past caring. Piecing a system together from four suppliers is how most people start and how most people end up with a condenser hanging on straps. We built the whole thing instead. The Vapir 2 - S unit sits on FFG brackets made for this firewall. The Heat Killer condenser sits on FFG brackets made for this core support. The vent to hose adapters; the Y-block for the defrost routing and the hardware pack are all cut for this cab. Plumbing arrives as a universal Restomod hose kit with a 6 inch drier and a trinary pressure switch; so the high side protection and your electric fan signal are handled out of the box. Choose your controls. The X-ACT Fit Controller looks factory; the Stealth Classic knobs come in black; satin or polished. Vents are the one thing not in this box - pick those separately to match. Running a 1978-79 Bronco? It fits; you will just need to relocate the rear window switch if it currently lives with the A/C controls.
