Single Fan Spal Brushless Fan Wiring Kit

One fan. One sensor. Speed that follows temperature. A thermostatic switch is an on and off device. It lets the coolant climb; slams the fan to full speed and then drops it again; you hear it and the alternator feels it. This kit lets a SPAL brushless fan do what it was built to do. At 175 degrees F the fan turns at its minimum speed. As coolant temperature climbs the fan speeds up. At 195 degrees F it is at full speed and moving its rated CFM. Three pieces; all of them terminated: the sensor; the sensor harness and the fan pigtail. No splicing into a fan lead and hoping the crimp holds. You supply a maxi style fuse holder and the right fuse. 40 amp for a 300W fan; 50 amp for a 500W fan. That part is not optional.

Temperature Sensor Range: At the lower temperature the fan will turn on at it’s minimum speed. As temperature increases the fan speed and airflow will increase. At the sensors highest temperature the fan will be on at full speed and will be moving it’s maximum rated CFM.

Wiring Instructions: These kits will require a maxi style fuse holder and fuse. A 40 amp fuse for 300W fans and 50 amp fuse for 500W fans. See Spal's wiring diagram below for instructions on how to wire your kit.
