Gen 4X Coyote Control Pack w/ 18–20 10R80 Auto Trans
The newest engine on the oldest ten-speed you can find cheap. A 2018-2020 10R80 is the one that turns up in salvage yards at a reasonable number. Bolting it behind a Gen 4X crate engine is a smart build. Getting the two to agree is a software problem; and software problems do not respond to more torque. M-6017-M50HAB is the Ford Performance pack for exactly that pairing: the M-6007-M50H Gen 4X crate engine with a 2018 to 2020 Mustang or F-150 10R80. PCM with the Gen 4X calibration; a control pack harness replacing the stock body harness; OBD-II port for troubleshooting and code reading. It ships with the electronic throttle pedal; power distribution module; air box; air inlet tube; upper and lower radiator hoses and HEGO sensors. Read the fine print. Return-type fuel system required. The 2018-2020 F-150 10R80 transmission is welcome; an F-150 engine is not. And the PCM will not start a production Mustang. Competition and off-highway use only.
