Ford Performance 5.0L Gen 4 Coyote crate engine from the 2024 Mustang GT for classic truck swaps: 480 HP, 415 lb-ft, with engine harness and dual mass flywheel included.

  • Factory 480 HP with factory manners - direct and port injection plus Ti-VCT; it makes power without giving up idle quality or fuel economy.
  • A block built to rev - plasma spray liners; cross-bolted mains and thick bulkheads; 7;150 rpm is the rated peak; not the limit of the hardware.
  • Flywheel already in the box - the dual mass flywheel ships with the engine; one less part number to chase for a manual build.
  • BOSS 302 rods; forged crank - the rotating assembly is the good one from the factory; not an upgrade you buy later.
  • Modular swap parts fit - mount bosses and bellhousing pattern are common to 5.0L modular engines; the aftermarket already supports it.
  • 9.5 quart steel pan - real oil capacity and windage control for sustained high rpm.

Ford Performance Parts is pleased to announce the latest 5.0L Coyote all-aluminum crate engine from the 2024 Mustang GT.  This modern 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V-8 uses advanced features such as direct and port fuel injection, twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), high-flow cylinder heads, dual throttle bodies, and a heightened compression ratio to deliver 480 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque (with premium fuel).

The lightweight plasma transferred wire arc spray aluminum cylinder block features cross-bolted main bearing caps and thick main bearing bulkheads for bottom-end strength, and optimized oil drainback and windage control to improve high-rpm performance.

Engine mount bosses and bellhousing mount pattern are common to 5.0L modular engines; Coyote swap mounts and bellhousings for that family apply.
Includes the engine harness and the dual mass flywheel; the automatic flexplate version is M-6007-M50DAUTO.
Vehicle harness and PCM are not included; control pack M-6017-M50D covers those.
Exhaust manifold is supplied for the right side only and the driver side flange uses the 5.2L pattern; plan your header or manifold accordingly.
Alternator; air conditioning; motor mounts and engine covers are separate Ford Performance part numbers.
