Rear Bumper Bracket Kit | 1948-72 Ford Flareside
Four pieces. Twenty-four years of Flareside beds. The gap between a Flareside bed and a stock rear bumper is the first thing that dates the back of the truck. Wide; uneven; and usually not the same side to side. This kit lets you take that back. From the stock location the bumper can come up 2 inch and in 3 inch; and the slotted holes give you every position between. You set the gap by eye; then tighten. Slots matter more than they sound. A fixed hole gives you one answer. A slot lets you square the bumper to a bed that has been off the truck once or twice already. Bolt the brackets loose; hang the bumper; walk back and look. That is the whole job.

The rear bumper is not included.
Adjustment: up to 2 inch up and 3 inch in from the stock location; slotted holes cover everything in between.

This bracket kit is designed for 1948-1972 Ford Flareside Trucks. The brackets will fit into the stock location but will also allow the bumper to brought in tighter and close the gap between the bed and bumper for a neater, cleaner look. From the stock location the bracket will allow the bumper to slide up 2″ and in toward the truck 3″, slotted mounting holes allow for any position in between as well.
