SoundShield® MASSIVE
One sheet. One door. No seams. Anyone who has treated a door with small mats knows the problem - you end up with six pieces; five seams and a strip along the bottom you could not reach. Every seam is a place adhesion can fail and every offcut is material you paid for and threw away. Massive is 48 square ft on one roll; 4.5 mm thick; tall enough to cover a door skin or a floor section in a single piece. Fewer cuts; fewer seams; less packaging on the shop floor. The sheet is three layers doing three jobs: waterproof closed-cell acoustic foam on top for absorption; a heat rejecting foil center; and flexible butyl rubber over a proprietary high-tac pressure sensitive adhesive that grabs on the first press. Waterproof on top matters more than builders expect. A vent that leaks or a wet boot on a floor does not turn the treatment into a sponge that rots the pan underneath. This is the roll to buy first. Then fill in the tight spots with Slim and chase the rattles with WrapIt.
