1948-79 Flaming River Steering Linkage Kit 2WD (DD Steering Shaft, Billet-Joint & U-Joint)

Rebuilding the box does not fix the part between the box and the column. This kit is the whole run: an 18 inch stainless 3/4 inch DD shaft in a mill finish; a Billet-Joint and a chrome moly racing U-joint on sealed needle bearings. CNC machined from aircraft grade steel. Sealed needle bearings are the reason it stays tight. Flaming River publish ten times the service life of a standard pin and block joint; and the difference shows up as steering that still feels new three seasons in. Pick your rack first. The Flaming River Rack option runs 3/4 inch DD connections; the Crown Vic conversion option runs 3/4 inch-36 threading with matched joints.
