Courtesy Light Connection Kit
Two lamps. One switch. Light where you actually need it.
Open the door on most classic trucks at night and nothing happens. You find the ignition by feel and the seat belt by luck. Courtesy lighting was an option nobody checked in 1962 and it is the cheapest comfort upgrade you can make now.
This kit is the connection side of the job - sockets; mounting brackets and the terminals to land on whatever door switch your truck uses. Bullet; blade or screw-type; the terminals are all in the bag.
It wires two under dash lamps to the headlight switch and the door switches so they come on with the door and with the dash dimmer the way the factory did it on the cars that got the option.
Small kit. It changes how the truck feels every night you get into it.
- Every door switch style covered - bullet; blade and screw-type terminals are all in the bag so you are not guessing at the parts counter.
- Two lamps in one kit - both footwells done in a single order.
- Brackets included - the sockets have somewhere to mount instead of being taped to a brace.
- Ties into the headlight switch - the lamps behave the way the factory courtesy circuit did.
- Cheap comfort - the smallest wiring job that changes how the truck feels after dark.
Install Level: Beginner - two lamps; a switch feed and a door switch ground
