Door Weatherstrip Seal, Left or Right Hand | Chevy GMC 1960-1966

Seven model years. One seal. Either door. Original door rubber on a sixty year old truck is not rubber any more. It is a hard strip that holds the door off the latch in cold weather and lets the wind straight past it at speed. This is the body mounted door seal for 1960-1966 Chevrolet and GMC trucks; ozone resistant EPDM cut to the original specification. Ozone is what ages weatherstrip; this compound shrugs it off and stays flexible through the seasons. Reversible. One part number does the left side or the right; order two and do the cab at once. Weatherstrip adhesive is not included. Have a tube ready before the old seal comes off.

  • Seals the cab again - hardened original rubber is the reason the door needs a shove and the wind still gets in.
  • Ozone resistant EPDM - the failure mode of old weatherstrip is ozone; this compound resists it.
  • Original specification - door effort and panel gaps stay correct.
