The lower run is what the door closes against down low; and when it is flat the door seal above it cannot carry the job alone. You end up with water in the cab corner and a draft on your ankles in November. Precision molds these from high quality ozone resistant EPDM rubber - the compound that stays flexible rather than going hard and breaking up at the ends. Sold as a pair for the left and right side. The top and sides run is a separate part number - DWP 1112 47 GM - and most cabs need both. One thing before you click: the URL on this listing reads door weatherstrip while the product is windlace.
