Fat Fender Garage is pleased to offer our Wilwood Master Cylinder kit for your 1967-1979 Ford 1/2 ton & 3/4 ton trucks, as well as 78/79 Broncos. We use Wilwood brake solutions on our project trucks because it’s the best and we’re now offering this kit for the DIY guys.

  • Wilwood tandem master cylinder with a 1″ bore. Machined from high-pressure die castings, each master cylinder weighs only 3lbs, a 75% weight savings over most cast iron OE type master cylinders.
  • 8″ Tuff Stuff dual diaphragm booster that provides room for your Coyote motor. It will also clean up your firewall if you are upgrading from the original stock booster on your truck.
  • Fat Fender Garage custom designed push-rod that makes this kit work with your stock brake pedal assembly.
  • Fat Fender Garage firewall plate and grommet to seal off the opening.
  • Fat Fender Garage mounting brackets. Many of you told us that you needed mounting brackets because your truck did not come with them, or they are missing. We now include them with our kit.

Good and bad

Good quality parts however, with supplied brackets installed it is not possible to achieve correct pushrod length and pedal height, also with the master cylinder and proportioning valve bracket and spacers installed onto the booster there is not enough thread engagement for it to be safe and requires modification

Great Parts! Specfic for FFG and Porter built frames.

Good quality parts, just they won't work with a QA-1 suspension upgrade with a stock frame. Booster sits on top of last ignition coil drivers side. Would have to remove vacuum booster in order to change plugs or ignition coil. This is if you are installing a Coyote 5.0 engine.
