Ford FE Ready-to-Run Distributor — 332 through 428 FE, CARB E.O. D-40-39
Three wires. Full spark. Street legal. Weak breaker points and tired rebuilt distributors are what hold an FE back. This one replaces all of it and brings its own brain - a high-output module inside the billet housing firing a 7.5 amp single spark through high rpm. Quick starts; snappy throttle; no separate box on your firewall. It is built to be driven. The vacuum advance canister is there for cruising economy and can be locked out; and the mechanical advance tunes with supplied springs and stop bushings; so a curve change happens on the engine instead of in pieces on a bench. The housing runs 5/8 inch smaller in diameter than stock; freeing real room in front of an FE. And this is the rare one that is 50-state legal.
Install Level: Easy - three wires to the coil; timing must be set
