Glass Weatherstrip Lockstrip | Chevy 1942-66
Chrome bead. It locks the glass in. A lockstrip is the small part that finishes a rear window and nobody thinks about until it is missing. Without it the seal never fully clamps; the glass moves in the opening and the bright line across the back of the cab just is not there. This is the chrome lockstrip that drives into the groove of the weatherstrip once the glass is set. Precision supplies enough material to cover any of the 1942-1966 rear window options. Ozone resistant material; so the chrome finish does not craze and the strip does not shrink back from the corners the way old stock does. Set it last; with the glass in and the seal relaxed. That is the five minutes that makes the whole rear window look finished.
