When you add a heat exchanger to your build, something has to move. The stock hood latch sits right in the way. This kit solves that problem. It relocates and repositions your hood latch to give your heat exchanger the clearance it needs — without cutting corners on how your hood closes and locks.
Every piece you need is in the box. The latch base, the support brace, the grille brackets, the OEM-tooling latch assembly, and every bolt, washer, nut, and spacer to put it all together. No extra trips to the parts store. No piecing things together from three different sources.
It's finished in powder coat black so it looks clean under the hood and holds up to the extra heat your new setup is going to throw at it. This is the kind of part that makes your build work the way it should — and look like it was planned that way from day one.
