Vent Post Weatherstrip Seal, Left or Right hand | Chevy GMC 1967-1972

Rivets to the division bar. The vent closes on it. This is the strip the vent glass shuts against. It runs down the vertical division bar and it takes the load every time you swing the vent closed. When it flattens the vent stops sealing at the front edge and you get water down the inside of the door and air at your left elbow. Nineteen fifty six. It is the cheapest seal in the whole cab and one of the few that changes how the truck feels to drive with the window up. Made to the OEM specs so the vent glass closes with the right resistance rather than slapping shut against bare metal. It rivets on. Have rivets and a puller ready before you take the old one off; there is no glue-on shortcut here.
