It needs a mount that puts the case where the driveline was designed for; not where it happens to land when you jack it up. This is that mount. It works behind either a 6R80 or a 10R80; so the bracket carries over if the transmission changes later in the build. Small part. It is also the part that decides your driveshaft angles for the life of the truck.
