ENDO PTC Fitting Repair Kit
Three collets. Three screens. Three o-rings. A push-to-connect fitting is four small parts doing one job: grip the tube; seal against it; filter what goes past. Damage any one of them and the fitting will hold air right up until the moment it does not. They get damaged on install. A collet gets pried on with a screwdriver; a tube goes in crooked; someone pulls the line out under pressure and the teeth let go. The tank is fine. The fitting is not. This kit rebuilds three of them - o-ring; filter screen; collet and tube support for each. Cheaper than a fitting and far cheaper than pulling a tank back out. Buy it before you need it and it costs twenty two dollars. Buy it after and it costs a weekend.
