1967-72 Ford Hood Hinges

Billet aluminum. Built to be seen. Factory hood hinges hang off the inner fender. Pull the inner fenders out for a lowered stance and the hood loses its mounting; which is where most lowered 1967-72 builds stall with the hood sitting on blocks in the corner of the shop. These hinges move the mount to the firewall - the same structure the inner fenders bolted to - and carry the hood on machined billet aluminum instead of stamped steel and worn pivot pins. The hood opens smooth and it keeps opening smooth; because the pivots are machined bores instead of fifty year old flogged-out holes. Read the notes before you order. These are for trucks running without inner fenders; and fitting them takes some cutting. That is the trade for a clean engine bay and a hood that finally works.
