1973-77.5 Ford Highboy EFI Fuel Tank and Fuel Pump
Built to order. Built for a Highboy. Pump already in it. A lifted 1973-77.5 Highboy is a different animal under the bed than the truck it shares a cab with; the tank has to be shorter and it still has to hold real range. This one is 26.5 by 24 by 10 tapering to 6; approximately 20 gallons of 1/8 inch 5052-H32 aluminum with a side pocket fill using the stock fill location. The Aeromotive Stealth 340 is already in it. That pump supports 700 HP on forced induction EFI and 850 HP naturally aspirated; enough for a Coyote; a Godzilla or a built small block with room to spare. Going further than that. The Aeromotive 18309 Dual Phantom upgrade takes the same tank into forced induction territory most people never reach. The rollover safety vent comes with it - a ball check that lets the tank breathe and blocks the port if the truck ends up on its roof; with a float inside to cut down on fuel slosh reaching the vent hose day to day. One honest warning before you buy: on some trucks the rear crossmember has to be relocated to fit this tank properly. Plan for it rather than discovering it with the tank on the jack.

A fuel level sender is not included. The listing recommends a 0-90 ohm sender for aftermarket gauges or a 75-10 ohm sender for stock gauges.

The pump can also be upgradable to a Dual Phantim Aeromotive in-tank pump to fit your high-horsepower and forced induction applications. Fuel Level Sensor: We recommend one of two sending units to fit your needs; A 0-90 OHM fuel level sensor for aftermarket gauges or a 75-10 OHM fuel level sensor if you are using stock gauges with our Coyote Swap tanks.
Rollover Safety Vent: We also include the rollover safety vent, which is a simple ball check valve that allows air in and out of the tank as needed. In the event of a rollover, the ball will drop and block the vent port from leaking fuel. Additionally, it also has a small float inside that will help reduce the amount of liquid entering the vent hose from fuel slosh during normal everyday use.
