1953-56 Steering Column Kit (Steering Column, Column Drop and Floor Mount)
Tilt column. Billet drop. Floor mount made for the truck. Most column swaps end the same way: a universal column; a bracket that nearly fits and a floor mount somebody made on a Saturday. The wheel sits an inch off centre and you feel it every mile. This kit is the whole steering column job for a 1953-56 F100 in one order. A 30 inch tilt column with a 2 inch tube; a billet aluminum column drop in 3.5 inch or 4.5 inch depending on the angle you want; and a swivel floor mount cut specifically for this cab. The column comes dressed. Gearshift knob; billet tilt and turn signal levers; hazard knob; illuminated gearshift indicator and GM wiring on a 4-1/4 inch connector; plus a cancelling cam and a compact shroud. 304 stainless in mill; black powdercoat or polished. No top indicator to block a set of Dakota Digital gauges. Built to order in the USA with a 1-2 week lead time.
