3/8" DOT/PTC - 1/4" NPT Straight Fitting

Quarter inch port. Three eighths line. Full flow either way. A lot of tanks come out of the box with 1/4 inch NPT ports - including the seamless tanks in this catalog with five of them. The line you are running is 3/8 inch. Something has to bridge that; and stacking a bushing under a fitting adds a joint that will find you eventually. This straight does it in one body. Thread the taper; push the tube; move on to the next port. The same fitting Accuair supplies inside its systems - so a stripped thread or a snapped collet on install day costs eleven dollars rather than a week. Seal the NPT. Leave the push-to-connect end alone.
