Gen 4 Coyote engine cover adapters
Gen 4 cover. Gen 3 engine. Ford redesigned the Coyote engine cover for the 4th generation and it is simply the better looking piece. The problem is the mounting; the ball studs do not line up on a Gen 3 engine and the cover sits wrong even if you force it. These are billet machined offset ball studs that move the mounting points to where the Gen 4 cover expects them. Four adapters; four rubber insulators; push the cover on and you are finished. The cover ends up sitting about 3/4 inch higher than stock. Worth knowing before you order if you are tight on hood clearance or running a cowl-side brace. The engine cover itself is not included. This is the hardware that lets you run one.
