Power Steering Reservoir with AN Ports
Twenty three ounces. Two AN ports. Made in USA.
A remote reservoir gets the fluid out of a crowded corner of the engine bay and into a place you can actually check. It is also how you stop chasing air in a system that never quite settles.
This is Canton's universal tank - 3-1/4 inch diameter by 7-3/4 inch tall; a -6 AN side return and a -10 AN bottom feed. The feed leaves from the bottom on purpose so the pump gets fluid instead of foam.
The AN fittings are male and machined into the tank; hose ends thread straight on. No barb with a clamp on it hoping to hold pressure.
The finish is what you appreciate three years in; when the hood comes up and the tank still looks like it belongs there.
- Bottom feed - a -10 AN outlet at the base so the pump pulls fluid; not air.
- Male AN ports - hose ends thread straight on instead of clamping to a barb.
- 23 ounces - enough volume to let the fluid settle and give up its air.
- Made in USA - a tank with a traceable origin.
- Compact - 3-1/4 inch diameter by 7-3/4 inch tall fits where a stock reservoir will not.
Install Level: Intermediate - power steering plumbing; the system must be bled after filling
