2023 Godzilla. Provided oil pump pick up plate binding to oil pump shaft when plate is bolted down.

2 stars because the pan is truly beautiful, wonderful welding job, but found a concern. When the provided pick up plate is snug, it contacts to the oil pump shaft and binds it. When the plate is torqued to factory spec, the shaft doesn't move! It should spin free. Shop milled 1/2 MM from provided pickup plate to provide zero thrust... (at my expense). Called FFG and was told they never heard of this and to watch the install video. If you are mounting pan with timing chains installed, you would never know this is going on! Just a heads up as "who knows" what this could do to your motor over time.

Different than the others

Nice pan! Plenty of additional clearance.
Great that they started with a fresh oem pan, nice welds by a pro. I like this pan over other alternatives in the fact that you can retain the FORD variable oil pump.
