FFG 1961-66 Ford Wire Harness Mounting Plate Kit

Zip ties are not a mounting system. They will hold long enough to fire the truck up. They will not survive the miles ahead - and when a module works loose behind the dash on a back road; you find out how much that shortcut cost. Your electrical system deserves the same engineering as your engine build. These plate designs came straight out of our turnkey builds; refined through countless installs and real-world testing. Laser-cut steel. Every hole where the harness expects it. Coach Plate. Coach GND Plate. Electronics Plate. Bolt them in and your modules have a home.

  • Pulled from our turnkey builds - the same layout we ship on finished trucks.
  • No fabrication - every plate position matches the harness; nothing to drill or modify.
  • Laser-cut steel - built past vibration and load requirements; not bent brackets.
  • A proper ground plane - the Coach GND Plate does the job zip ties cannot.
  • Serviceable later - modules mounted where you can reach them.

Required: FFG 1961–1966 Ford Wire Harness; Coach Control power center or modules to mount. Included: coach plate, coach plate adapter, module bracket, module bracket adapter, and all mounting hardware (1/4"-20, 5/16"-18 and 8-32 fasteners, locknuts, washers and spacer). Tools: hex keys and a socket or wrench set. Critical steps: adjust the slotted brackets to your dash depth before final tightening, mount the plates before running harness branches, and confirm connector access and service clearance. 5052-H32 aluminum (.080") coach plate and coach plate adapter; 5052-H32 aluminum (.080") module bracket and bracket adapter; button head hex-drive screws, nylon-insert locknuts, washers and spacer Problem: Modern control modules end up zip-tied or hung on bent brackets behind the dash, where they work loose, rattle and are hard to service. Dash depth also varies across 1961–1966 F100 cabs, so a fixed bracket won't fit every truck. Solution: The FFG 1961–66 Mounting Plate Kit gives the Coach Control power center and the harness modules a dedicated home under the dash. Custom 5052 aluminum plates with slotted, adjustable adapter brackets fit every Gen 4 cab, and all mounting hardware is included.
