Underneath the finish nothing is compromised. A single Hall Effect sensor guards against signal interference so timing control stays steady as rpm climbs; sealed connectors keep heat and moisture out; and the advance is locked out because your Sniper EFI manages timing. You are choosing appearance; not performance.

Finish is the confirmed difference between this and the 565-301 — both carry the same cast iron gear and Hall Effect trigger, so you are choosing appearance, not performance. Cap, rotor, and gear are installed. The ignition box is required and sold separately.
